Medical disclaimer
Medical disclaimer.
Mapigo Health is a personal tracker. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app is medical advice.
Last updated 8 June 2026Not a medical device
Mapigo Health is a consumer wellness application. It is not registered, cleared, or certified as a medical device by any regulatory authority. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Information rendered by the app — your readings, averages, charts, and any comparison to the targets you have set — is for your personal record-keeping only.
What Mapigo does
Mapigo stores the blood pressure readings you choose to log, computes simple arithmetic summaries (average, minimum, maximum, count), plots them as a trend over time, and lets you share a read-only summary with a clinician via a code you generate yourself.
What Mapigo does not do
- No diagnosis.Mapigo never tells you that a reading is “normal,” “abnormal,” “healthy,” or “dangerous.” It does not produce a risk score.
- No medication guidance. Mapigo never recommends starting, stopping, increasing, decreasing, or changing any medication. Medication decisions belong to your prescribing clinician.
- No clinical thresholds. Mapigo does not apply any clinical guideline (such as those of the WHO, ACC/AHA, ESC/ESH, SAHA, or any national equivalent) to your readings.
- No alerting. Mapigo does not contact you, your clinician, emergency services, or any third party on your behalf if your readings are unusual.
Your targets are not clinical thresholds
The systolic, diastolic, and concern values you enter in Settings are personal targets that you set. They are not validated against any guideline. They are not endorsed, suggested, or reviewed by Mapigo or by Zeevio LLC.
Set your targets in consultation with a qualified clinician who knows your medical history. The “above your target” indicator the app renders is a simple comparison to the number you typed in, nothing more.
Always consult a qualified clinician
For any decision about diagnosis, treatment, medication, or your health more generally, consult a licensed medical professional. Do not rely on Mapigo as a substitute for professional medical evaluation.
If a reading worries you, share it with your doctor — do not ask the app what it means. The app cannot answer that question, and any apparent answer it seems to provide is a simple comparison to your own target, not a clinical judgment.
Emergencies
Mapigo is not for emergencies. If you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden weakness or numbness, confusion, severe headache, loss of consciousness, or any other symptom you believe may be a medical emergency, stop using the app and contact local emergency services or attend the nearest emergency department immediately.
Limitations of home measurement
Blood pressure measured at home depends on factors Mapigo cannot detect or control, including but not limited to: cuff size and fit, arm position, posture, recent physical activity, caffeine or stimulant intake, stress, time of day, and the calibration of your monitor.
Readings stored in Mapigo reflect the numbers you enter. Mapigo does not validate that those numbers were measured correctly. Errors in measurement carry through to averages, trends, and any summary shared with your doctor.
